Description This began on Sunday as a still life with fatwood. then it changed to still life with twigs. and then it became still life with guinea pigs (cause that's what the pinecones looked like). and then, when it seemed that the pinecones were winning, I came back on a touchdown with 3 seconds left on the clock. Score: Lisa 1, pinecones 0.

Finally completed 12/10/10 just before I walked out the door for the semester's end art show at the college. They don't call me "Last Minute Lisa" for nothing.

When I was painting this, it seemed a bit too dark, so I put in a few bits of zing... thanks for the comments! Keep em coming

I was going for "rustic" and "old" for a show I am doing next month. The place sells beautiful rustic furniture and stuff as well as handmade wooden canoes... watch for more like this, and thanks!
