Serphias was formed under the dark deep lapis waters. From the seed of Poseidon, ejaculated into his territory, formed out of the sand a half eal half man.

Though he has no knowledge of his backround, he easily brushed it off from his awe and utter beauty of his surrounding, the depths of the sea and inhabitants. This will further influence him in being the sea creature's gaurdian.
