Description "I see you finally found a shirt that fits you."
Frankie let out a snort at Fletcher's observation, sipping his wine with a grin.
"Shocking, isn't it?" he replied, setting down the glass. "I never thought to look in the women's section."
"Smart." Fletcher chuckled. "Must be a relief not to have it slipping off your shoulders constantly."
"Oh, tell me about it. And believe it or not, I've also gained a few pounds." Frankie added with a victorious smile. Fletcher raised his brows and grinned.
"Frankie, that's great! Congratulations." he exclaimed, clapping his step-brother on the back. "God, I remember when we were kids. Everyone always thought you were sick." The other male picked up his soda can and swirled it, then stared down into it as he went on. "Really helped when it came to asking people for food or money, huh?"
"That's right... Heh, I've blocked a lot of that stuff out."
"I don't blame ya. I would too if I could." Fletcher agreed, taking a sip of his soda. He smiled. "But we're living pretty good now, wouldn't you say?" Frankie smiled back widely.
"I wouldn't trade it for the world." he replied, glancing over his shoulder, surveying his and Richie's apartment for a moment. His smile softened. "I couldn't be more grateful. Especially for Richie and all he's done for me." Fletcher studied him for a minute, observing his expression with a soft chuckle. Frankie looked back at him with a curious gaze. "What?"
"Look at my little brother, all married and smitten." he teased, grinning again. "When do I get to meet this husband of yours anyway?" Frankie smirked.
"At the same time I get to meet your wife and daughter when we have you over for dinner."
"You cookin'?"
"Oh, but of course. And Richie too. He's a great cook."
"Sounds like a plan then." Fletcher affirmed with a smile, finishing his soda. It was Frankie's turn to study him again, for the millionth time that day. He couldn't believe his step-brother was actually sitting with him after so many years. He'd thought he was long gone, had thought the worst, and that he'd never see him again. Yet here he was. It seemed he had a streak of luck when it came to running into people.
"There you go again, starin' at me with that funny look. What's goin' on in that brain of yours, huh?"
"Sorry." Frankie responded, smiling sheepishly. "I'm just... I'm just so happy you're here. It's so great to see you again. I thought you were gone."
"I'm happy to see you too, Frank." He snickered as Frankie's expression dropped at the further shortened version of his name. "Sorry, I'm sorry. I know you don't like that." He rubbed the back of his neck. "But really, I am too, bro. I missed you a lot. And it seems we missed out on a lot of each other's lives. But I'm here to stay. I'm not leaving you ever again. We got a lot of making up to do."
Frankie nodded, trying not to let his emotions get the best of him, but as usual, he lost the fight. He reached forward, pulling his step-brother into a hug, and embraced him tightly. Fletcher blinked, smiled, and hugged him back, hugging tighter after hearing a sniffle from the other blonde.
"Still the same cheesy doofus I know and love." he said, earning a laugh from Frankie.
"I should be the one saying that. I don't usually hear that kind of sentimental stuff out of you."
"Yeah, well, I guess family life has made me kind of a doofus too."
"Welcome to the Doofside then." Frankie laughed again. "We have jackets."

*sOBS* I'VE BEEN WANTING TO DRAW THESE TWO TOGETHER FOREVER 'COS I JUST LOVE THEIR RELATIONSHIP ;A; FINALLYYYY. Now I just have to write out the full drabble LMFAO *procrastinates more*

A little backstory: They have the same mom, different dads. Fletch is older by four years. Their mom and Frankie's dad were lowlifes, both addicts, and the boys got taken away from them when they were 9 and 5, respectively. They spent the rest of their lives up to the Exposure in and out of different foster homes, most of which were abusive, though they did get lucky with a few. After Fletcher turned 18, they were separated, but kept in touch until Frankie started seeing Kris, who gave him trouble about seeing/writing to Fletcher. At that point, Fletcher had started going for injection trials and later had to leave the city due to the Exposure. He joined a Resistance group on the outskirts of the Exposed city, where he's been helping those in the slums ever since. (how the fuck they didn't run into each other sooner in the same city is beyond me but w/e LMFAO)

Also, Fletcher is a Lesser Flamingo :'D
