When: September 22, 2018Where: Mondo Verde Landgraaf, The Netherlands
When the two cubs chased after their mother, they sat beneath the hill and the girl went in for a sneak attack from behind on her brother. M took a photo that was a little different and less of a hug and I wasn't sure I even took this photo till we came home and there it was
It's playful and sweet, and so telling of how these 2 are
Species: Bengal Tiger (Bengaalse of koningstijger)
Latin name: Panthera Tigris Tigris
Originates from regions in India, Bangladesh, Nepal and Bhutan.
Current status: Endangered
Did you know:
...Though classified as Endangered, it’s the most numerous Tiger subspecies.
...The White Tiger – often mistaken for albinism – is a recessive mutant of the Bengal Tiger.
