The Bengal Tigers' enclosure has these fun obstacles, but at this point, they're too high for the cubs to climb up on. Perfect for mother Rani when she's done being attacked by her babies and needs some peace and quiet. Which is the opportunity the cubs take for some napping of their own - only to wake up and charge again as soon as Rani comes back down
Species: Bengal Tiger (Bengaalse of koningstijger)
Latin name: Panthera Tigris Tigris
Originates from regions in India, Bangladesh, Nepal and Bhutan.
Current status: Endangered
Did you know:
...Though classified as Endangered, it’s the most numerous Tiger subspecies.
...The White Tiger – often mistaken for albinism – is a recessive mutant of the Bengal Tiger.

Are other tigers classified as more endangered than the bengal as well, or is it just because the number of bengal tigers is declining?

Most conservation attention goes towards Bengal and Siberian Tigers, I think because they're the best known Tigers out there - and maybe their natural range is originally larger?
There are 4 other surviving subspecies of Tiger; Sumatran, Malayan, Indochinese and South China, but they have a harder time at survival because they occur in such limited spaces and struggle a lot more with human threats.
Either way Bengals and Siberians are doing better in the wild (their IUCN level is Endangered, as opposed to the others at Critically Endangered), Bengals especially while the other subspecies maybe reach 2,000 in total put together.
