Originates from the eastern portion of the Guiana Shield and Venezuala, and part of surrounding countries.

…The Dying Dart Frog is also known as Dyeing Dart Frog, Dyeing Poison Dart Frog, Dying Posion Frog or simply Tinc – the latter used mostly by those who keep them as exotic pets.
…It is one of the largest members of its species, growing to be 50 mm or 2.0 in.
…Like all Dendrobates it is highly toxic when consumed, and the taste combined with their bright colors discourages most animals from eating them.
