…The Red-Footed Falcon is a medium-small, long-winged species. It’s a sexually dimorphic bird; the male is all blue-grey with a red undertail and wings and uniformly grey inderwings while the female has a grey back and wings, orange head and underparts and a white face with black eye stripe and moustaches.
…They are migratory birds, wintering in Africa. They are also known to wander towards western Europe and have also been spotted in Massachusetts, USA.
…Their numbers are dwindling rapidly due to habitat loss and hunting.
