I tend to zoom in a bit more for the close, close-ups or so M has told me. But hey, when they get this close - which is still a distance, but definitely closer than most times - you need to take advantage.

Species: Gray-Handed [or -Legged] Night Monkey or Douroucouli (Grijsneknachtaapje, Uilaapje of Doeroecoeli)

Latin name: Aotus [Lemurinus] Griseimembra

Originates from certain parts of Columbia and Venezuela.

Current status: Vulnerable

…The Gray-Handed Night Monkey was formerly believed to be a subspecies of the Gray-Bellied Night Monkey, Aotus Lemurinus.

…As it’s name suggests, the Gray-Handed Night Monkey is a nocturnal, rather small Monkey living in the trees.

…It is one of few monogamous Monkeys.
