Young waterfowl don't make it easy on you, scurrying for food in the grass. Especially Goslings do this a lot - we've seen more than just this kind do it.
But with their heads down, and them so small, photographing becomes a challenge for sure!
Had to get real low, and look pretty ridiculous while at it - they were in the Red Ruffed Lemur enclosure, but instead of paying attention to those gentle boys (who leave the Goslings be, luckily) I was crouched so low, almost all the way bending over to get these Goslings on camera.
I don't regret it, and this time, M didn't take a photo of me to commemmorate it

Latin name: Alopochen Aegyptiaca
Originates from Africa south of the Sahara and the Nile Valley.
Current status: Least Concern
