I think most people's love of Owls start with seeing a Barn Owl for the first time. They have a rather sweet face, and the coloring is just stunning.

Casper is a very enigmatic and fun guy, I think he's started it for many kids at this zoo

Species: Barn Owl (Kerkuil)

Latin name: Tyto Alba

Originates from everywhere except for polar and desert regions.

Current status: Least Concern
