One of the pretty boys from our most local zoo
How the mighty grow, he and his brothers are gaining more and more scars but it doesn't really make them less handsome.
Species: African Lion (Afrikaanse leeuw)
Latin name: Panthera Leo
Originates from Africa and West Asia.
Current status: Vulnerable

…It is the second-largest living Cat, after the Tiger, but the tallest – at the shoulder – of all living cats.
…Lions are the only members of the Cat family to display obvious sexual dimorphism, meaning that males and females look distinctly different.
…Lions in captivity tend to be larger than Lions in the wild.

Well, I think that's just it - just because you're a carnivore and kill others in order to survive off their meat, doesn't meal you're a killer 24/7. They're so mellow oftentimes, and I guess innocent fits too.

It might seem mean to say it, but I've seen some male lions who really didn't have a pretty face so this is pretty okay

It's really hard to choose a favorite cat - it depends on which kind of recently seen. Right now, it would have to be clouded leopards for the cubs we saw a few weeks ago
