When the little girl finally did wake up, she was the sweetest faced kitten we'd seen in a while

She looks like a regular kitten mostly, but those markings and the shape of the head tell you that's probably not the case.

Species: Fishing Cat (Vissende kat)

Latin name: Prionailurus Viverrinus

Originates from South and Southeast Asia.

Current status: Vulnerable

Did you know:

…A medium sized wild cat, is the largest of the Prionailurus cats, and about twice the size of a domestic cat.

…They are very much at home near water, and can swim long distances, even under water. They do have webbed feet, but they are less completely webbed than those of the Leopard Cat, and is not much more developed than that of a Bobcat.

…Their claws are incompletely sheathes, so that they protrude slightly when retracted.
