When August 11, 2022
where: Dierenpark de Oliemeulen Tilburg, the Netherlands
To say Sjors unnerved me, and I unnerved him just a little might be an understatement.
I did not pet him, I did not have food for him, but I did hold a shiny black eye aimed in his direction. He had an easily spiked tail and dangerous back end that he could turn my way - and the camera's - in the blink of an eye and emit a noxious scent.
No dangerous situation ensued though I dare say we grew to trust each other's relatively slow movements
Species: Striped Skunk (Gestreept stinkdier)
