Description
When: September 1, 2017
Where: Uilen- en Dierenpark De Paay Beesd, The Netherlands
It was very strange to see these Ducks with tufts attached to the back of their heads. I've seen lots of Ducks, in all colors, but never before one with these kinds of blobs just growing along with the rests of their feathers but in a whole different way.
Does anybody know whether this is a normal Mallard, or a whole different kind of special species?

I tried looking for the Dutch term for crested duck and in English as well, but for some reason, could only find species of ducks called crested ducks.
Thanks for the help identifying him, and that link - I'll incorporate it in my photo information

I haven't seen many of these kinds of ducks before actually; it was quite amazing to see they're supposed to look this way - it makes for quite the different kind of duck
Thank you!
