Where: Dierenrijk Nuenen/Mierlo, The Netherlands

Due to pure coincidence, we've seen the three Lynx kittens around the same date each year - Spinner in 2017, Luna in 2018 and now Jules in 2019. All three girls gave us a good glimpse of themselves early August. In the case of little Luna, we saw her from a few weeks old, but for both Spinner and Jules it was our first time seeing them at that time of year

Lovely to see how much they look alike at that age, but you can already see the individual stripes and spots

Species: Eurasian Lynx (Euraziatische lynx)

Latin name: Lynx Lynx

Originates from Europe and Asia.

Current status: Least Concern
