When baby animals are born, the zoo tends to let the weeds overgrow the enclosure - there's no maintaining them at all. It can be tricky if you still want to photograph the animals but for sure, it's the better choice. And otherwise, we wouldn't have all these cute flowers to add some extra cuteness to the kits

Species: Bat-Eared Fox (Grootoorvos of Lepelhond)

Latin name: Otocyon Megalotis

Originates from South Africa.

Current status: Least Concern

…The Bat-Eared Fox is predominantly monogamous.

…In contrast to other Canids, they have a reversal in parental roles, the males taking on the majority of parental care behavior.

…Some view Bat-Eared Foxes as an entirely different sort of species – the Otocyon – while others say it is in fact closely related to the true Foxes, of the genus Vulpes, and another group divides them into an outgroup which is not closely related to true Foxes at all.
