Description
When: July 26, 2017
Where: Zie-ZOO Volkel, The Netherlands
This photo is timed perfectly (though yes, I realize it was taken almost a year ago...) since they've been couped inside for a long time with the Southern Porcupines raising a small baby. They weren't allowed to meddle, but now that the baby is bigger, they're fully enjoying being outside again.
Let's hope all that time inside led to a little yellow bundle of joy
Species: Yellow Mongoose (Gele of vosmangoeste)
Latin name: Cynictis Penicillata
Originates from Southern Africa.
Current status: Least Concern.
