Aw shit. I don't know how I manage to do it with EVERYTHING I LIKE, but whenever I find a drawing I'm really into, as soon as I add color, BAM: Crapola. I can't color like I see color in my head.... how depressing. I think I may have ruined this.Oh well. No use crying over shitty coloring jobs, I guess.

it looks INCREDIBLE!!! im a big musical/opera lover and phantom is one of my personal favorites. i really like the way u made christine's dress. for the phantom's mask, i think it should be more curved in certain places. if u hav ever seen the mask closer, you can see it curved a little by the cheek, i think it was. when i saw your drawing, it reminded me of 'the seduction' during 'music of the night.' i really enjoyed ur picture.

Wow, thank you so much! Man, and here I thought people would hate it because the coloring sucks.... I can't use colored pencils to save my life.
Yeah, actually, I've been a "phan" for many years, but only recently rediscovered my true love for the whole production with the release of the movie-version in theaters. It was amazing-- I can't believe I went so long without seeing it or listening to the music. The music totally stirred my soul.
For Fey-as-Christine's dress... It was my favorite part of the piece, except for maybe her hair.
As for the mask, yeah... I prefer the eye-mask thing better, like the one on the theater posters, but the half-mask definately suits the character more. It demonstrates and symbolizes the two-faced nature that in essence *is* the Phantom. However, having only a few tiny screencaps of Gerard Butler turning to one side where the mask is almost completely covered wasn't really enough of a reference to be completely accurate... ah, me and my excuses ^__^;; Oh well.

it was no problem! glad my critisicism will be used constructively. it was just the music singing in my ears when i saw it! it is really a great piece of artwork, and if you make any other pics that have anything to do with musicals, i would definitly love to see them!
