Description Then did the Moon awaken from his dream
and lo the World lay softly in her sorrow.
And as the Moon adored the the World, his queen
He laid her in her cradle for the morrow.

The texture in here is very nice, but i feels it's a little overdone, especially that the water, and the grass have nearly the same texture. Also, the light source. Is that a lens flare? If it's not, then great light. But if it is, and someone else said this about lens flare, it's a sort of photoshop faux-pas. Like a cheap way through a digital drawing, i guess. Besides that, great concept, it's very nice.

I completely disagree with you on the light flare being a photoshop faux-pas (especially since I don't use photoshop). When doing digital art, there isn't really much else in the way of getting a light source for a sun, at least not that I have found. If you have another suggestion for creating the effect of a sun, I'm more than happy to hear them.

Each piece in this image was it's own layer. It was the only way I could get the sun, the planet, and the moons to cooperate.

As for the water and land having the same texture, that was done deliberately, but I can see how it could look like a little too much in comparison to the smoothness of the moons.

Nothing should ever be so finished that it can't be improved. I'll see what I can do with it.
