Description
My version of the Lapis Lazuli dragon, Fortuna, from the Deltora Quest book series.I used a variety of images to decide on her final design, including Marc McBride's version, and an image from Secrets of Deltora which pictured an emerald dragon chasing a lapis lazuli dragon. The one aspect I wanted to include in her design was the foreleg and wings being connected.
This is one in a series of Deltora's dragons in my style. So expect more from me. c:
Sorry about that annoying mess up with the blurring around the edges, I really can't be bothered fixing it. lD

I'm surprised you haven't found them yet, though. Ever tried using Amazon.com? That's a great (and cheap!) place to start.

Ahh... So many dragons...
Rest assured, I do in fact love ALL OF THEM... But artistic-wise, Fortuna here would have to be my favourite... Most because that starry-sky effect is pretty hard to pull off (for me anyway...) and you seem to have done it so easily... I have dragon envy now...
But honestly mate, they're all simply awesome.

Hehe, it was pretty so-so in the middle when doing all those stars. xD
But the toughest to draw would have been Hopian. It's harder than I thought to draw something intimidating and rainbow. xD

Haha. I know what you mean about Hopian being a challenge, mate. Trust me.
He's the only one of Deltora's Dragons I've yet to draw... Intimidating and rainbow just doesn't seem to be working for me. You pulled it off wonderfully though mate.

Well, I did actually draw one when I was drawing the rest of them... But then when it was time to colour him I just didn't know how... So the sketch is still sitting here, only half finished...

She was described as having 'deep blue scales with silver stars', so lets hope I did her justice in my version of the design. xD
