I just don't know what it is about them? Posing them is just so confusing because they have that wing membrane that connects their legs and tails and ugh

i find their wings and faces are hard to draw :> i just want to draw my two nocturne twins but why are the faces so hard gahhh!

I do believe they were based on leaf nosed bats (cdn1.arkive.org/media/1D/1D7B1β¦ ) but honestly that doesn't help me draw them any easier because that nose is messed up.
So, here's my idea:
Struggle. Struggle until the face looks alright. Struggle some more.
