"What do you do when we're not around?" Amelia sometimes would ask him. And he would just smile and answer that "there's not 'when you're not around' moments".
But, sometimes, when the Ponds were asleep or in their home, he just pull off to that very moment. Back in 2005, to see her one more time. Just to say a brief goodbye. Not a goodbye at all, just a stare. She don't even had to know he would be there.
Sometimes, he would attempt to go there and say hi.
Just hi.
Or say how beautiful she looked that day.
Sometimes, she looked back at him. And those sometimes almost killed him and his two hearts.
And, sometime, he knew he would have to end those sometimes.
