So there I was, attending Derpy Con South in New Orleans in September of 2014.
I see this super cute print of the Mane 6 as fillies. I had to inquire who the artist was, but the owner of the print was not to be found, so I asked a staffer and he told me when I would be able to catch the owner next.
After a few missed opportunities, I finally catch him at the end of the con. The only thing he could say was that he won it at the Fiesta Equestria charity auction back in 2013. So I went searching, but could find no information posted on any of that con's social media outlets.
Almost a month had past and I had about given up hope of finding the source of such cuteness. Then I found a YouTube video of the actual auction. I carefully watched the video, hoping not to skip over the auction of said print; and there it appeared, like a well of light in the darkness. I listened intently for mention of the artist's name, but none came.
But I would not be deterred so easily, my flame had been rekindled. I commented on the video, with luck, some knowledgeable soul would have the answer. Not expecting much from a video posted over a year ago, I set out to find more leads. I then happened upon an old post on Facebook outlining the charity donation submission process. A light leapt to my eyes as the post revealed an email address to send submissions to "Bronies for Good".
"Surely they would have the answer written down somewhere!", I thought.
I sent off a hopeful email with a link to the video.
A few hours later I received the following response:
"Thanks for the challenge. ^^ I took a screenshot, corrected the
perspective, and reverse-image-searched it. Unfortunately Google is bad
at indexing Tumblr (and DeviantArt too apparently), but the Yahoo search
found it.

In the end, it is with a joyous heart that my search has come to an end.

I had forgotten I had gave them a print for the auction and I didn't know there was a video on it.Β
Also how did you see the drawing at DerpyCon? Was it put up somewhere?

The person who won it at the auction had it on display in front of his audio mixing board in the main panel room at DerpyCon South.
Is there any way to get a print of this or was it only limited to that auction?

Do you know how to get a 11x17 printed from places like kinkos or officemax?
I can send you the file but you'll have to take the file to the shop and pay like $1-3 to get it printed.Β
