Peter Stormare as Mac Gargan/Scorpion.Stormare is good for playing really evil, nasty characters or weasly, insecure, whiny characters too and to me that's what Gargan should be.
Like the animated series, my Gargan would out as some lameduck guy who lets the world pick on him until being granted the powers of the scorpion. From there on, he becomes a force not to reckon with and nearly kills Spider-Man. He'd team up with Rhino, Sandman, or Shocker or some lower-level thug for the first or second movie and then as each movie went on the villains would get tougher and more audience-recognized.

that is a very good manip: only, as far as i'm concerned, gargan is around the age of fourty and married, and stormare is 57, more fit in age and looks to gargan... maybe in the new films, he can first be a detective, but get fired when hermann schultz, a crook under wilson fisk who uses stolen oscorp teech, tries to blow up the police HQs because the kingpin tells him to "make a point", and schultz blows up his partne's car, partner inside, when he fights with spider-man, and gets fired. in the second film, gargan is insecure, bitter and with a dead-end job as a failing private detective, voulenteers to an oscorp experiment where he is bonded to an experimental biological/mechanical scorpion-like suit, with an unexpected side effect of insanity. he goes for who he thinks is esponsible for his unfortunate turn in life, first he tries to kill schultz with no success, prowls on low-life muggers, then decides to go for the 2 most "responsible" people, now completley delusional with his uncontrollable power and his damaged mind. he goes for osborn first, but get stopped by spider-man before descending to the sewers. he cuts a deal with norman that osborn would return him to normal and he will take care of otto octavius, a man osborn ruined and made a freak nicknamed "doctor octopus", but doc ock and gargan end up fighting spider-man in a 3-way fight, resulting in capt. george stacy being killed, doc ock being throw into a generaor, electrouted and kept in the vault on IV drip (as he has radioation poisining in my story, after osborn sabotaged a nuclear experiment of his in the end of my version of the first film) with the likes of adrian toomes, who helps doc ock as the vulture, max dillon and wquentin beck, and gargan fully losing control on his suit and losing consciussness, and also sent o the vault. for casting, maybe guy pearce? as for the manip itself: it's pretty ood, but, well... it looks shopped XD. magneto's helmet just doesn;t fit a lot with stormare, and the meshing between peter, the toy and the helmet is a bit pixelish (a mistake also in the mysterio manip, the border between nite owl and the green smoke... but nonetheless, an awesome manip... another tip is that if your'e using photoshop, maybe try to use te burn/dodge tool more, it helps wit realism and really helps doing some stuff (like the shoulders and weird lines on mysterio's sleeves and shocker's gloves, left sleeve and parts of the shock guns, and some stuff for the scorpion manip, which is more like the spider-man 3 video-game costume)...
