6:02- Too early to be planned
"Zeph-ri~!" The platinum blonde opened one bleary eye.
"How the hell did you get in my house, and do you have a caffeinated beverage. Answer the second one first." she mumbled at her overly chipper friend, tugging her silky pillow over her head.
"What do you take me for? And your gramma let me in." Sedryk placed the Mountain Dew in Zephris extended hand. Still glaring at him, she sat up in her bed and gulped back the soda.
"Sooooo... How you doin'?" Sedryk asked, teeth shinning in a lipstick coated smile.
"I fin- why are you covered in hearts?" Sedryk smiled even wider. Indeed, he was decorated quite lavishly in hearts. Heart earings, heart suspenders, heart bowtie, heart gloves that climbed up his entire arms, and even his shoes laces had small hearts on them.
"Did somebody forget what day it is?" He giggled, straightening his (thankfully) patternless red beanie.
"Im waiting."
"It's....... VALENTINES DAY!!!" Sedryk yelled, throwing a handful of pink confetti into the air.

".... Seriously?" Zephri raised her eyebrows, the glitter and shreds of paper now scattered across her room.
"What? It's a world wide holiday... I think... Do they have Valentines day in Britain? I think so, cause most white people trace back to the colonial era, and that means that we came from Europe and so we had to have gotten the holi-"
"-Thats not what I mean!" Zephri snapped. She did love him, but Sedryk could just ramble on and on for an hour before getting to the point.
"I meant! That Valentines day is stupid." Sedryk gasped, overly offended.

"My dear girl! Valentines day? Stupid? That is where you are wrong madam, wrong wrong wrong! You see," Sedryk paused for effect, making Zephri sighed. Ever the actor.
"Valentines is a celebration of love and affection, of family and alliances, of that unbreakable bond of closeness and caring. It's for friends and lovers alike, the one day you are actually encouraged to walk up to the boy- or girl for that matter- of your dreams, and get down on one knee, and say... I love you. And so my dear girl, what is stupid about that?" She rolled her eyes.
"You're gonna talk to Sollux aren't you."
"Yah!"

Sollux Captor had been the source of Sedryks affections for almost five months, and had been the subject of many "girl talks" over that time. Sedryk was surprisingly good at acting "straight" in public, he always got a bit flustered around the lisping computer whiz.
"See, I have a plan," Sedryk sat next to Zephri, taking her hands, tugged her close to him.
"I'm gonna leave a present for him in his locker."
"Naked photos?"
"Ha ha-friggen- ha. Of course not, I'm trying to woo him, not assault him. Now don't interrupt. I'm gonna leave the typical box of chocolates thing, labeled- guess it- se-" "-Slenderman?"
"No! Stop interrupting! As I was saying, labeled secret admirer!but I'm gonna need your help with two things."
"What?"
"Picking the lock. Can you do it?" Zephri waved him off.
"What do you take me for? Yes I can do it!"
"Great. But first- I want to dye the edge of my bangs, but for some reason, I kept getting it in my eyes. Can you help me out?" She eyed him, taking a slow sip of her drink.
"Please?"
"I have a cost."
"I'm willing to pay."
"15 bucks and batch of cupcakes."
"Done."
"Then I'm in." as Sedryk cheered for himself, Zephri came to the realization that she was still in her pajamas.
"Ummm... Sed? Sedryk... SEDRYK!" "What?" "I need to change!" The boys lightly freckles face grew bright red.
"Oh... Sorry..."

6:53- Right before school
The two popped their heads around the corner, in full secret agent mode. Well, Sedryk was at least. The now black and red haired bog crept into the isolated hall way, visible eye narrowed into a charcoal coated slit.
"You don't have to act like t-" "- Quiet Agent Fangirl!"
Tiptoeing out to locker 612, Sedryk gave what Zephri assumed was "the signal".
"You're a dumbass." After a minute of fiddling with the lock, the door popped open.
Reaching into his bag, Sedryk pulled out an impossibly large heart shaped box lined with paper lace, filled with what was presumably chocolate.
"How on earth will that fit into his locker?!?!?"
"If i push right here- and twist it- stupid lace- and it's in!" Zephri began to shut the door, but Sedryk stopped it at the last second.
"One second!" and Sedryk wrote, in his most fancy cursive, scrawled across the front,
FROM YOUR $ECRET ADMIERER X0X0, and sealed with a small kiss, leaving a red lip mark on the present.
Sedryk turned to Zephri, ecstatic.
"Let's go."

10:43- Break
"... And a card for you, and a card for you, and one for you, and..." Feferi Peixis bounced down the hall way, giving every living thing in sight one of her sparkling perfect valentines.
"Sedryk! Zephri!" the two turned around at the shrill call.
"Have a card!" She giggled, handing them each there own Finding Nemo themed cards (seriously, how old was this girl?) with a lollipop taped to it.
"Thanks Fef."
"Yah, happy Valentines to you too, girl." Sedryk laughed, ruffling her golden blonde hair. As she skipped away, Sedryks smile turned instantly into a glare.
"God, I hate her."
"She is bearable..." Zephri pulled Sedryk down to tweak his nose. The two usually could get away with just holding hands, but the candy coated and heart shaped holiday forced them to be on there most lover like behavior.

"So, you get your Valentine wish yet, sweetie?" Sedryk felt sick. He wanted to be sweet talking with some handsome tall boy, especially if that boy had a lisp and loved bees, and as Zephris eyes flickered over to Terizi, who was talking to Karkat, he had a feeling she was disgusted by there forced act as he was.
"No yet." She giggled, "And what is a valentine wish?"
"To hell of I know." Sedryk felt his heart stop as he noticed a certain tall Asian boy in a red and blue glasses walk by.
"You wanna... Like-" "-Sit down? Sure!" Zephri led him to a small bench in eyesight of Solluxs locker. She must have noticed him to.
"Bless you girl."He whispered, peeking over at the unsuspecting boy.
"So, how's your...." Sedryk trailed off, distracted.
"Well, Grandmums fine, thank you.." Zephri led on the conversation by her self. It would seem weird if they were silent for a long while.

Sedryk was almost on the edge of his seat from the suspense. Would he know who it's from? Would he be happy? Gog, he just didn't know!!!
And the metal hinges swung open.
Solluxs jaw dropped, eyes bugging. Was that good? Tugging at the colossal candy box, Sollux eventually pulled it out, with what a cartoon would have dubbed a pop.
Looking around, the flabbergasted boy read the small message, and turned bright red. Sedryk felt like just getting up and walking by, to see the boys reaction up close. But, right then, the demon from the hell of all things sickly sweet and deadly adorable, Feferi, chose that exact moment to run up and give Sollux his card.
"No, please..." He whispered too himself, over come with worry.

Sollux laughed and gave her a hug that was four seconds too long for Sedryks taste. They began to talk, Sollux gesturing wildly at the red box. Sadly, Sedryk couldn't hear what they were saying, but it seemed to be about "mysterious" gift.
Sedryk could hear his crushes laughter as Feferi seemed to dance in a little circle, making his heart pang. It hurt... But he had to see what Sollux thought about the present. Leaning in to listen, he caught a whisp of the conversation.
".... and I wath wondering if you know who did thith, for a thecond, I thought it might be you, your alwayth acting thilly like thith."
"Weeeeellll, it wasn't me! I'll ask sound if you want! Maybe it was...." Sedryk pulled his mind out of their conversation, slightly offended. Feferi? He thought it was the work of that silly ditz?!?
He turned back to look at the two, who laughing again. Sollux waved good bye, and walked down the hall way, loosely holding the box of chocolates in one hand.
Sedryk sighed. At least he didn't kiss her.

2:13- Last class of the day ending
Sollux stared down at the mystery gift while the other classmates flirted and downed candy. Who would give him this? When did he have a secret admirer? And- was that lipstick? Who wore that much lip- oh.
It was that stupid douche Eridan jerking with him again.
And he fell for it.
Sollux grit his teeth. The stupid-!

Sedryk skipped out his last class, ready for a serious Glee marathon with Zephri. Today was both emotionally and physically exhausting. Keeping his outfit in shape was harder than most people though. Now we're was that gir-.
Sedryk felt his heart suddenly drop to the floor and shatter.
"Hey Sed, whats up.... Sedryk are you ok?" He just pointed at the trash can.
A crumpled red... Thing, layed in the waste basket, crumpled beyond repair.
"It's a piece of trash, what's the deal?" Sedryk reached in the trash and tugged it out, straightening it.
The words were faded, and almost illegible, but they both knew the familiar scrawl.
It was the Valentine Sedryk had left Sollux.
"... Let's go home... Drop the box Sed..."

"... I feel like we're Blaine and the pips." Kurt sassed at Blaine.
Zephri and Sedryk were both entranced by the show, surrounded by blankets and comfort food. Sedryk, eyes red and puffy, blew his nose once again, make up smeared even more then usual.
"I hate Valentines day." He whimpered, leaning into Zephris arm.
"I know baby, I know."
