Nice Job on the picture, I really dig your use of lighting. That goes double for all your pictures really. But are you sure that rumor is true? I remember there was a a big rumor about this when the first Black and White came out. Something about a song called "Champion of Kanto" but it was only used for the train battles and never anywhere else. I hope this is real.

He's my favourite rival from the whole series. +fav
Funny thing about his name actually.
In the original Japanese games, he's called Green, to fit in with the Pocket Monsters Red and Green versions released in Japan.
When Pokemon came out in English, somewhere along the line someone decided to ditch the Green Version title and we got Pokemon Red and Blue versions (which were actually Pocket Monsters Blue Version with Red and Green's monsters in them to make two versions) and his name was then localised to Blue to be the opposite of Red (the protagonist)
And then we have Gary, who is Ash's rival, from the anime who is based upon the rival from the games, just as Ash is based on the protagonist.
So to be VERY technical, this character's official name is Green Oak, but is known as Blue Oak in the english versions of the games and Gary Oak in the anime.
Hope that didn't confuse anyone too much.
