Description

I really like the idea of the tentacles being moving appendages, like that of a real squid. I have seen some art involving the Splatoon inklings, primarily the girls using their tentacles as appendages for various movements including but not limited to carrying groceries and holding hands with their loved ones. So I got the idea what would happen when an inkling uses their tentacles in a fight. I have a few more ideas on how the tentacles can be used and may end up drawing them.

So I have a question for you guys. why do you suppose she smacked him? I am curious for ideas. Perhaps he said something mean or degrading to her. XD

I wanted to try making a piece using shades of secondary colors in my palette. Plus I wanted to try drawing the inkling boy and a girl other than Headband-Chan. And yes, that is a tooth coming out of the boy’s mouth >:3 I am also working on starting off with cleaner line work so I am not spending as much time refining it in photoshop.
