Description a gift art for my friend ^GaioumonBatou who requested for the scenary of a plateau highland with wind passing through. the plateau is apparent but i guess you can 'see' the wind by the way the clouds stretches out in the sky.

the poem quoted is written by bai juyi of the tang dynasty. a poetic genius in that era, he is said to have written these famous verses at a tender age of 16.

i include only the third verse which reads roughly in english translation:

a verdant stretch reaches into the ancient highway,
as sunny greens link the aged city.

the whole poem is here:

赋得古原草送别
白居易

离离原上草,一岁一枯荣。
野火烧不尽,春风吹又生。
远芳侵古道,晴翠接荒城。
又送王孙去,萋萋满别情。

I got the feel for the wind pretty easily, actually; like =Itti said, the strokes do a wonderful job depicting it. Thank you so much, once again!

It's great, if you glance at it they are just "splotches" of colour, but they really create the feeling off rock.
That's what I find amazing about watercolour. Your amazing, so beautiful.

I like the kind of sideways "swept" strokes you:ve used - it makes the whole plateau look like it:s being blown about by the wind.
