One night, being drunk, my mind spawned an idea about drawing a series of "Pony girls with pony cars".
Here`s first one. I guess it`s not hard to guess why it is that exact car. If you`re still did not get it, just watch this . Dukes were not enough intelligent and adorable to become inspiration for AJ, but that legendary smuggler sure was the best candidate.
Trans Am - 27 layers, 12 hours.
AJ - 8 layers, 6 hours, still counting.

Хот-род не есть пони-кар, увы. Хочется как-то удержаться именно в легендарных пепелацах того времени.

Пони-каров вообще немного. Выбирать придеться даже не по характеру персонажа, а на вкус и цвет. Если брать легендарные пепелацы, есть один "легендарный" хот-род из фильма American Graffiti

Хотя машинка то скорее Дешевая, у Джекки что-то потяжелее-посерьёзнее должно быть. имхо, конечно же.

Вариантов было только два: либо Firebird из Smokey and the Bandit, либо Charger из Dukes of Hazzard.
Дюки подходили бы неплохо, потому что они живут и работают на ферме и варят там же алкоголь.
Но AJ за рулём "Генерала Ли" - слишком очевидная, и довольно широко раскрытая тема. Картинок много есть.
Посему выбрал то, что еще никто не делал. AJ в этом варианте всё так же работает на ферме + занимается не совсем легальными развозками своей не совсем легальной алкогольной продукции (уж мы-то знаем, что если бы не рейтинг, она бы гнала кое-что покрепче сидра).

Not to insult, but why the Turbo T/A? Poor, poor gutless car. Then again, the late 70s T/As were already kinda gutless to start with. I owned a '79 T/A with the Olds 403. Enough torque to tow the space shuttle to it's launch pad but it ran out of steam real quick.

Well, it was just a mistake, which i found out too late to correct. I wanted to use 1978 Trans Am special edition, but googled just "Trans Am". It was a long time since i watched "Smokey and the Bandit", so i just took a couple of pictures of the car, and started drawing.

If we`ll try to ponify it, it will sound like "Poniac Fenixbird Trans Eq Turbo" or something like that)
