This is loosely, very loosely, based off my pet Hawkhead, Gaius. He sat quietly on my shoulder most of the time while I was painting it. This is odd, because he usually spends my art time trying to steal/throw on the floor/bite through all my gear and demand attention every few seconds. So, I think he approves.
