I was practicing sketching some birds. This is one of those sketches. I know, it looks more scaly then feathery and the scanning is also a little off...Related content

The wing of the duck (the one at the bottom of the page) looks off. The angle does not seem right. And the ducks looks rather scaly, rather than feathery... And I can see that the scanning does not come out as good as it should have. The backgrounds is not dark enough. The lack of shading contracts too much with shading used on the ducks. Not a bad picture but it just feels 'blah'.
