If I didn't know she was a Hearthstone character, I'd wonder if this wasn't a design for Magic: the gathering. On the other hand, I never knew Night Elves did Steampunk! Β

The contrast of warm colors in the environment and the blue of her skin is like candy for my eyes. I love her expression, too, she's all "I have work to do, so get on with it". Such an awesome painting.

Night elves are usually more gussied up in either gowns or armor. It's neat to see one looking dapper

Great job! Elise is my favourite explorer. I really like her design - it's so weird to see a night elf wearing something else than a battle bra 
(Also: that's a very nice candle there in the front.)

Great work on the new card man, she looks great! You really gave her a lot of charm and personality in this shot, and all of the background elements fit the Explorer theme well. Her card is one of the first ones I was eager to try!

Β Just bought the adventure today, my first time ever buying one. I must say, the art work was one of the major things that convinced me to do so.
Β I really like this style. Cartoony, without going too unrealistic. Has a nice messy, painterly feel to it while remaining easily readable even when shrunk down.
