Description
These are my submission for the recent 2000 AD Online Design your own Dark Judge contest. While most of the contestants went with a dark gritty approach (which works very well and their pieces are amazing!), I figured I'd be vibrant to be different. Both of them were fun to create and design. Here's the accompanying blurbs of both characters:
A charismatic individual, Judge Avarice preys upon the elite, the rich, and the powerful. Judge Avarice feeds on the essence of his victims through their greed and desire. Although being near his victims is sufficient, Judge Avarice accelerates his absorption by planting a "trinket", a conjured item that the victim desires most while magnifying their greedy nature. Judge Avarice will render his victims into a pile of dust once he is finished feeding on their essence. Like his victims, Judge Avarice succumbs to his own greed. As he absorbs his victims, Judge Avarice becomes powerful and regains his former living body. Because of this, Avarice is repeatedly judged guilty and executed by the other Dark Judges. In due course Judge Avarice returns as his undead self, only to repeat the ordeal all over again to be alive again.

Judge Vermin, also known as Judge Pestilence, is a foul and conniving creature! With his telepathic power, Judge Vermin has the ability to control all kinds of vermin and disease spreaders; from rodents, insects, spiders, pigeons, and even the homeless. That's right, the homeless and panhandlers anywhere are susceptible to Judge Vermin's wicked control. What the vermin he controls see and smell is what Judge Vermin sees and smells as well. Because of this Judge Vermin tends to be a spymaster and sows chaos in the populace.
