First off, I instantly regretted drawing that tree behind Rosie's head. (Rosie is the cat, who witnessed/caused my first spider-rape.) I needed something to fill the space, but it just looks like an afro that's not actually attached to her.Secondly, this is a pain that you can only fully understand by playing Animal Crossing DS. Unfortunately, that pain is a pain (another kind of pain) to draw. Tarantulas (tarantulae?) have too many legs. They totally block the view of the spider-rape. I wanted to show a lot of action in the body, but those damn legs... Oh, well. Not bad for something I drew during a slow day at work.
Finally, anyone who knows where the title came from gets a cookie.
UPDATE: I caught one! I immediately donated him to the museum and said terrible things about his mother. And there was nothing he could do about it.

Whoa, calm down, little missy! They only come out during the summer months, they make loud noises when they walk, and if they do bite you, you just wake up outside your house.

Shoot, I probably sounded like a freaked-out nerd right there. Sorry...So embarrassed.
But I am seriously freaked and disturbed by the fact that I can now be attacked by spiders. I mean, they just creep me out- even though the ones I've seen have never actually attacked me, the vicious ones are seriously scary.
Good thing I'm usually too busy during summer to play Animal Crossing that much. Now, whenever I play in the summer and hear loud noises, I'm saving right then and there (thank God for that automatic-save-function).

But GOD, can I ever relate. Those tarantulas freak me OUT. I love the cat's expression! Stupid bystanders. Is that Rosie? All the expressions are nice, really...You're really good with drawing faces! Although, to be honest, something seems just a TAD off on the shape of the cat's head. But it's too minor to really criticize you over. The shading is really nice, too.
So yes. Nice Animal Crossing fanart + Makes-a me laugh = fave.

Yep, that is Rosie. The first time I spotted a tarantula, it was near her house. I stealthily follwed it to the trees, where it spotted me anyway. When I tried to flee between Rosie's and the river, Rosie was right in my way. She witnessed the whole thing. When I came to I ran straight to her house. I shook her.
"What happened to me while I was out? Tell me! I want my life back!!"
"I like pie!"

lol, I just love how much insanity this game instills in people. I can't tell you how many friends I talked to my human friends to about those animals and they didn't know it was a video game. "Sally's being a jerk to me today. First she invited herself to my house and then freaked out when I was a couple minutes late!" "Whitney gave me a new shirt today! It was soooo cute!" "Haha, Rolf said the funniest thing today!"
And my friends are just like "WTF? Who are these people!?"
