This is the background layer in the "Torment" Pic fav.me/d9uxej3 , without the Argo effects layers blocking the view. These are the "Memorial" statues to the heroines who "died" under Argo's protection in a psychically induced imaginary guilt trip, meant to break Argo's spirit.-------------------------------------------

Because their "deaths" were just an illusion to try and break Argo's spirit. They were still very much alive.
