Okay, here's yet again another revamp of an older character of mine that I've reintroduced into the Angel Falls setting....her name is Jetta Chambers aka "Techna" and she was recently bought back in story form in this story where she completely rebuilt one of my cyborg gals Deuce a completely new body from scratch. Longtime watchers of mine may remember this drawing If you'll look closely, the actual lines were drawn back in late 2007 and I haven't drawn this character since.

She was my first attempt at drawing a BBW character, as at that time all of my characters were rather muscularly built and I didn't really have that firm of a grasp on anatomy yet. Being that the Angel Falls stuff has really been rolling, I thought it would be good to bring in the gal that's responsible for keeping my cyborg gals running in tip-top shape. Plus, I've been on somewhat of a BBW kick as of late...my new girlfriend is a BBW so there you go! So without further ado, here's the bio for Techna!

Special Powers/Abilities: Techna was born with the meta-human ability of Innate Capability...therefore giving her the ability of being able to naturally have skills and/or knowledge typically earned through learning, giving her super intelligence far beyond that of the most learned college doctorate graduate. She also has the abilities of kinetic-photographic memory...Jetta remembers every single thing she's ever read or heard word for word; she even remembers being born.

Techna has undergone very minimal cybernetic enhancements to her body, as she's injected nanites in her bloodstream to boost her immune system. Her brain has also been fitted with a few microchips and various datajacks and ports have been implanted in various locations on her body to help her interface better with the computers and cyborgs that she works on. She's an expert hacker along with being one of the best Cyberologists on the face of the planet. She's good for taking things apart and putting them back together again, often improving on the design upon re-assembly.
Personality/Random Quirks: Despite having genius-level intelligence, Techna is a huge fan of Punk Rock and all sub forms of it. It's not uncommon to find her in a mosh pit somewhere banging out with other punkers. Her body is adorned with many piercings and tattoos...she has 20 piercings total (two in each eyebrow, five in each ear, a nose piercing, two lip piercings, both nipples, and a belly button piercing) and 10 tattoos. She is also Straight-Edge, which means that she doesn't drink, smoke, or take any drugs. She has X's tattooed on the back of both of her hands to express her stance against mind-altering substances.

Techna's not a warrior; she doesn't have any enhanced strength, speed, durability, or stamina. She has been given basic firearms and hand-to-hand combat training for extreme situations, but she hates confrontation and will only use force if there is no other choice for her. Her meta-human ability of Photo-Kinetic Memory allows her to look at a specific move or technique and be able to repeat the same move as if she's been practicing it for years perfectly. Although she's a big girl, she's actually deceivingly nimble and agile. She doesn't have any problems, however, jumping into a mosh pit and going bonkers during a good ol' Punk rock song!

Bio:

Jetta Chambers has always been a very bright girl thanks to her meta-human ability of Innate Capability and her , naturally giving her genius-level intelligence. Although she grew up in a small rural town in Southwestern South Carolina, she has always been a child protege. She graduated high school at the age of 13 and attained her double bachelors in biology and pre-med at 17 years old. She went on to receive her doctorates in both Cybernetics/Cyber-Biology and Bio-Engineering at age 21, graduating Summa Cum Laude at the top of her class. Jetta has always been a wiz when it comes to anything involving technology, computers, and machinery; that's how she earned the nickname Techna. Jetta was quickly hired by B.E.C.A. as a lab technician upon her completion of Graduate School where she would assist in the maintenance of the cyborg agents, weapons, vehicles, and accessories that the B.E.C.A. agents utilized in the battlefield.

While working for B.E.C.A., she was able to get really close to several of the cyborg agents that she often worked on...most notably Raina Hunter, Simone Rattica, Onnica Graves, and Cyra-2. While they were being treated like machines and such by many of the other technicians, Techna has always been compassionate and still realized that no matter just how cybernetic her patients may be, they were still human underneath all of the machinery. Unfortunately being that Techna was so young plus she was a female and overweight, she wasn't always taken seriously by the other technicians and was trapped under the glass ceiling when in reality she was probably the smartest and most learned employee for B.E.C.A. In return for taking care of them and treating them like normal, the cyborg women that Techna cared for often stood up for her when the other misogynistic and chauvinist male technicians would tease and insult Jetta because of her weight and gender.

As supervillainous activity increased in Angel Falls, there was more of a need for help in the way of keeping the peace and protecting innocent lives from evil forces. The city of Angel Falls' Police Dept. had made a deal with B.E.C.A. for them to come in and fortify their Special Crimes Unit with weapons and technology that would help them defend against threats of a meta-human/supernatural nature as well as assist superheroes and heroines with the dealings of rogue metahuman criminals and villains. Raina Hunter was the first to be sent to Angel Falls as was made the leader of the SCU and was given free reign to choose her own task force. She chose several of her old B.E.C.A. comrades for combat purposes...and then realized that she not only needed top-notch combat and firepower support, but she need top-notch technical support. Techna was just the woman for the job, so Lt. Hunter made the call to her and by the end of the phone call Techna was doing a happy dance with the news of her receiving a promotion and joining her favorite subjects in the big city of Angel Falls.

She's given Lt. Hunter her word that she would do a great job by keeping the AFPD SCU's weapons, cybernetics, vehicles, and other technology on the cutting edge to keep them on the same level if not higher than the superhuman threats that so often plague the city of Angel Falls.
