Here's the colored version of

Once again...it's my quasi-bad girl superhuman fighter gal "The Unf**kwitable" Sapphira Reese aka the self-proclaimed "Baddest Bitch Of Them All" posing for the crowd and cameras with her Ultimate Championship Belt and her new and very revealing fighting attire. For the coloring job on this one, I tried a couple of new tricks that I learned from watching video tutorials by one of my favorite artists here on DA, the awesomely amazing I was looking on some stuff that focused on using Corel Painter Essentials, as I don't have the luxury of Photoshop CS3. I picked up a few pointers that actually shaved a considerable amount of time off of the coloring process. I'm still trying to figure out how to get a better way to get the lines nice and crisp instead of jagged like they are. As for how the new technique of coloring, I liked how it came out for the most part...actually, I think this is one of my better coloring jobs! And for added effect, I added in a Blurred frame around the edges...so now it looks like a trading card or a poster or something! I wouldn't mind having a poster of Phira hanging on my walls!

I've been wanting to color this one since I first drew it a few weeks ago, and I actually started coloring this last night just to try out the new techniques that I learned from =reiq 's tutorials. I log on to DA today only to find that I've received this super dope fanart of Phira by the awesomely amazingly talented so I was VERY inspired to go ahead and splash some color on this! Yep...I've got that "Phira Fever" and it looks like it's spreading faster than Swine Flu!

The title "The Baddest Bitch" is actually the title of a song by female rapper Trina [link] That song is very fitting of Sapphira's personality and Sapphira even refers to herself as "The baddest bitch of them all"...with that championship belt in her hand, it's hard to argue against that!
