Description

Here's my next entry for my Barbarian/Amazon/Warrior Women series...The Champion here was inspired after watching Troy for the first time and seeing how much of a badass Brad Pitt was as Achilles!

She's the best fighter of the empire.  Rarely does she ever have to go out on the frontline with the rank and file infantry, she has earned the right to stand at the ready at the general's side...at times she does miss the thrill of rushing into battle where the probably of immediate death is extremely high, but her ability to elude and cheat death time and time again has boded well in her favor.  At the pivotal battle of Scytivara, the opposing general called for a one-on-one dual to the death for anyone to face their champion...a giant and mighty warrior who had never been bested.  The winner's side would claim victory for the entire war, the losing side would surrender and be conquered.

Her country didn't have an appointed champion at the time...she begged for the chance to take on the brutish warrior, to which her general reluctantly agreed.  It is told to have been a fierce battle with the giant showing no restraint whatsoever and seemingly proving to be too powerful for the young woman.  Yet what she lacked in strength she made up for with speed and technique; she capitalized on a grave mistake and ended the battle when she drove her sword upwards through her foe's neck, which then exited from the top of his skull.

Realizing that it could have been her death that occurred that day, she trained her body harder than ever so that she could be stronger.  Her training paid off, as she had won several battles for her country as champion.  She is a household name among the empire, having access to almost whatever her heart desires at the decree of the emperor.  But, she cares not for fame or riches...she simply wants to be known as the greatest warrior to have ever lived.

She doesn't really have one.  I started a series a few months ago featuring fantasy-themed characters as opposed to my sci-fi cyborg characters that I do all the time.  None of them really have names other than a title for them.  For example this gal is The Champion...some of the other gals in the series are: The Fury, The Gladiator, The Desecrator, The Gatekeeper, etc.
