"They'll fix you...they fix everything."

Officer Anne Lewis was in worse condition than she actually realized. She had an extensive amount of internal bleeding due to ruptured vital organs in her torso and abdomen from the three gunshot wounds that she had suffered at the hands of Clarence Boddicker. Officer Lewis went into a violent fit of coughing and spitting up her own blood as she lay afloat on top of the Cobra Assault Cannon in the large mud puddle within the abandoned factory yard before blacking out.

A sudden jolt of electricity shot through her body as she was violently awakened. Her mouth was covered with a breathing mask connected to an oxygen tank. Her uniform top had been opened, revealing her sports bra covered chest. With blurred vision, she watched the two frantic EMT workers hovering over her; one holding the paddles to a difibulator.

"Yes...we've got a heartbeat again!"

"Stay with us, Officer! We're not gonna let you die!"

With an extremely weak pulse, Offier Lewis floated in and out of consciousness. She was able to hear the driver and on of the EMT's that resusitated her going back and forth about the directions.

"Hey Benny...what are you doing? You missed the turn to the hospital!"

"I know...while you were busy bringing her back, I got the order to take her to OCP headquarters."

"What the hell....OCP?!? This woman is dying! She ain't gonna make it if she doesn't get immediate medical help!"

"Hey...you're preaching to the choir, man! I'm just following orders."

Lewis began to cough up more blood. One of the workers removed her breathing mask to wipe the trail of blood running from the corner of her mouth. Officer Lewis gurgled and softly murmured, laboring hard to force words out.

"Muh...muh...Mur...phy. Wh...wh...where's Mur...Murphy?"

One of the EMT workers looked confused.

"Who the hell is Murphy?"

The other worker looked at him strangely,

"Dude...Robocop! Duh!!!"

"Oh yeah..."

The first EMT worker had a shot of painkiller, which she injected into the side of Officer Lewis' neck.

"Don't worry Officer, he's fine. He's on his way to get all patched up also. Just relax and save your strength."

Lewis' body tensed up as the syringe of painkiller drained into her body, slowly relaxing until her eyes closed.

Lewis's near-fatal wounds rendered her into a coma several hours after she was taken to a sterile laboratory within OCP headquarters where she lay comatose in a medical bed within a sterile looking laboratory. Extremely slow and faint the life support monitor pulse read that she was in critical condition, barely clinging to life the day after she was bought there. Across the lab stood a few technicians in white lab coats facing a group of men and women in business attire from OCP's executive branch. A beautiful, well-dressed lady stood in front of a large monitor console as she addressed the techs in a firm, commanding tone.

"Alright people...this is the deal. The ED-209 unit was a flop. It sounded good in theory, but seriously...the damn thing can't even walk down a flight of stairs!!! And even Robocop himself is slow and clunky...so we went back to the drawing board to design something faster, sleeker, and much sexier!"

There was a light round of chuckles from the group.

"Laugh if you want to, but we all know that sex appeal sells. I know the 'Old Man' won't like it, but this is what we've come up with as the next breakthrough from OCP, combining and optimizing technology from the ED-209 Unit and the Robocop unit. I'd like to introduce you to the OCP Crime Prevention Unit 002 and the first female unit...Robocop 2.0!"

The lady proudly pointed to the full body schemata of the designs to her proposal of the Robocop 2.0 unit. She continued as everyone stared at the monitor.

"She's capable of doing far beyond what both the original Robocop and the ED-209 units are capable of doing. And it just so happens that we have an available candidate to undergo the transformative procedure to become Robocop 2.0..."

The executive motioned over to the bed where Lewis lay before slowly walking over to her bed.

"Who better to serve as Robocop's newest partner than his old partner?"

One technician raised his hand.

"But ma'am...this woman is still alive! Do we have consent that she's a willing participant to undergo cybernetic transformation surgery? Have we even had time to notify her next-of-kin on her current condition?"

The lady laughed.

"You must be new here! Ah...you science nerds are always so inquisitive! Yes, her family has already been notified. But, as far as the public...and everyone standing in this lab...knows, she was dead on arrival to the hospital."

The lady turned off Lewis's life support systems and coldly turned to the tech who voiced his concern.

"Officer Anne Lewis was a faithful and dedicated Detroit police officer who heroically died after suffering three gunshot wounds while in the line of duty assisting Robocop in stopping notorious criminal Clarence Boddicker. She will be decorated and honored at her funeral in several days and a park named after her will be built in the spot of the abandoned factory where she died. In short...yeah, we have everything covered."

An eerie beep sounded as she finished her sentence, alerting everyone present that Lewis's vitals flatlined.

"And I would HIGHLY recommend that everyone sticks to the script and not even think about playing the role of whistle-blower. OCP doesn't like it when it's employees can't keep secrets; those pesky employees seem to always turn up missing...or worse! Do I make myself clear?"

Sheepishly, he nodded his head with a stare of shock on his face.

"Uh, yes ma'am."

"Good. Let's get this party started then, shall we?"

Lewis's eyes fluttered as her vision slowly cleared up to where she could see her immediate surroundings. Her line of sight was different...it was crystal clear, and she could see various prompts and digitized words and images. Her eyes quickly scanned several of the technicians within the laboratory, giving her access to their bios and information. She felt weird...as if she were disconnected from herself. She slowly raised her hands and leaned up a bit; mechanical noises could be heard with each movement that she made and she quickly discovered that her body looked similar to that of her robotic partner.

And, on cue, said partner approached where Lewis lay upright. Officer Alex Murphy had been repaired after the same battle that critically injured Anne Lewis. Her face lit up upon seeing her partner.

"Murphy."

Like his, her voice was now reverberated digitized and somewhat hollow. He smirked back.

"Lewis...it's you."

Here's a commission from one of my DA buddies of some time now, who also shares my same fondness of muscular cyborg women!!! He requested something that I've been wanting to see for quite some time; Officer Anne Lewis from the Robocop franchise awakening after being turned into a Robocop herself!

Like kmankman and myself, over the years I've seen several fans of the Robocop franchise say that they wished that Lewis was turned into a Robocop after she was killed in part 3 of the original run in the 80's/early 90's. However, also like myself and Kmankman, there are those of us that wish she was turned into one after the very first movie...that would've made perfect sense! And that's where my short story above picks up at!!!

Word on the street is that they are getting ready to make another Robocop reboot, cancelling out parts 2 and 3 of the original run and the mediocre reboot from several years ago. This is their chance to get it right and have two Robocops with Murphy and Lewis kicking some cyborg ass all over Detroit!
