This awesome skeleton stock tempted me to skip practicing drawing to do photomanip again.
It was fun. I spent most time for composition and lighting. Hope you like the outcome like I do.

what is there to say about something this incredible? the shading, the darkness that surrounds the reaper, all the way to the dark birds that crowd his shoulders. i know it may seem that i'm giving you a complete 5 stars in every category just to be kind, but the truth of the matter is, you have a wonderful eye for such a grim piece. The most deadly creature that matched peoples lives, he is Death, and when people animals, etc. dies, are mortals and they die of old age, injury, or any other deadly stuff out there.
Millions of people die, but he's around finding out who is gonna die, only God knows when. Us mortals don't know when, cause God knows when we are gonna die, but we best if we can enjoy ourselves and not get paranoid about it. Whom the Bell Tolls, everybody is gonna die sometimes, old or young, that's how it ends Well.

The atmosphere of this piece astounds me. You gain a sense of impending doom, though the person in question is unknown. I particularly love the use of the crows flocking around him, as it seems to add to the tension of the piece, making us wonder what will happen next. The mist, too, was used wonderfully. All of the elements of this piece work together so well. The time put into composition and lighting was well spent! One suggestion I have, though, is maybe adding a little more texture to the bones of his ribcage. Other than that, I really enjoy this work and am curious to see this grim reaper of yours in action!
