Yeah, same here. I have a guitar, but I haven't gotten anywhere with trying to play it because my hands seem to be a little too small. For instance, when I have to hold down 4 strings at once, I can't...quite...reach...the string that I have to hold down with my pinky finger. I really try to streeeeetch that finger towards the string, but I can't reach it without inadvertently laying my finger across the other strings. So, yeah, I think I'm finished with my little rant now...

Guitars look very cool. Unfortunately, I don't understand most notes unless I already know how the music sounds. If I see notes from a song I never heard of before, I get confused and I would have to listen to it to know it better. And also how to play it, as well.

Ahhh, I know what you mean! (: I need to hear how a certain rhythm or tune to the song goes so I know how to play it. It's okay, though! You can still learn. Just get yourself a really basic guitar book and it will slowly teach you how to play. Honestly, I have one and it starts off SUPER basic. It helps a LOT if you've already taken some kind of music class or lessons before, because it makes reading music much easier (: But honestly, if you really want to learn, then by all means, learn! ;D I haven't been playing quite a month, but I've learned sooo much in the few weeks due to my guitar book :3 If all else fails, you can youtube beginner guitar lessons or search how to play a certain song for guitar on youtube. [: The internet is a useful tool (: So maybe give it some more thought? ^^ It's all up to you, though. Just thought I'd comment. Sorry I wrote so much xD Hope this helps!

Well, basses and guitars have their equalities. . . I believe that's why they call it a Bass Guitar. . .
But they are NOT the same thing, for example;
A bass sounds much more deeper then a guitar.
A bass normaly only has 4 stings ,a guitar can have a up to 6 strings (the maximum strings I've seen on a guitar is 24).
The basse's neck is longer than the guitars neck.
A bass is heavier than a guitar.
Etc.

Then get one! I got mine a year ago, just went into a music store and picked one, then I started practising on my own learning from websites and videos. Now I have a classical guitar and an electric guitar and I can play pretty well. It's easy, just make the first step

Learning now. I figured out I learn better on Internet than with the classes. My teacher tought me some things but I don't know, I wasn't really confortable with anyone by my side to teach it and I wasn't learning it very well. And I think it's better to learn this way and improve while not learning anything and pay 50€ every month (about 64.94$)

Mmm, I dunno, guitar looks harder 'cause you have to worry about notes and keys and stuff, whereas drums you just have to hit the right one and get your left and right feet/arms sorted out x]

Lol, they're super cool for relieving stress. Thursday night is like my detox night (thats when I have lessons, of a sort) Base would be cool too, though you don't get so much of a feature as guitar does, though bassists (when they're guys) are more than often very smexi xD
