Finally, my characters are in! And yes, I used a bunch of cameos, and I might list them here if I have the time to go back and look at them. Anyway, there's another note I want to mention:

NOT EVERYONE IN THE HAKUREI CLAN IS BROTHER/SISTER. As you can see, I played with relationships a bit more. After all, there's cousins, as well as people who went into the Hakurei Clan by marrying into. Just a note.

Mayu Hakurei

Weakness: Easily trusting, self-sacrificial

Bio: Kind, caring, and even polite to youkai who can remain civil, Mayu is a very highly regarded miko within the Hakurei clan. She was born blind, which left her in the intense care of her brother Norio. However, she manages to be independant as possible, claiming her divine powers allow her to see through her own heart. She's famously known as a Seer with an ability to look into the future, with albeit vague images.

Bio: Blunt, impulsive, and rough around the edges, Norio is a dangerous but caring individual. Raised to look after his older sister Mayu, he is skilled with a sword but not in priesthood. He now serves as a shrine guardian. His upbringing often makes him see the blind Mayu as helpless, meaning he must always protect her, in spite of her protests to him. He's transferred this belief to others over time. He holds a fervent grudge against most Youkai, believing none are to be trusted.

Strength: Believes in the bonds of friendship, healing powers
Weakness: Relies on others for emotional stability
Weakness Wins Out
Bio: A Shrine Maiden in training, Tamiko married into the Hakurei family through Norio. She is treated fairly, though she believes that his obsession with his sister hampers their relationship somewhat. Quite timid, she often needs to be with others to feel comfortable about herself. When it comes to a battle, she sometimes relies on Norio for protection, even though she is fully capable of defending herself.
