This is the "human side" of my comic [link] coming out. I love drawing tanks and planes and armored suits but it is really intended to be a human story. The first and third panels are ones I'm really proud of - I really feel like they conveyed the body language of their respective moments just as I wanted them to. I don't know if any of you have ever had to sit around and wait while someone you cared deeply about was in a fight for their life. But I have. Several times. And it feels a lot like this. They say you can only write what you know.
