For this being old fashion it's awesome. I know what you mean. Lots of people do digital art these days and I don't see alot of traditional art. That is one of the reason I do traditional art. Not like I am saying digital art isn't cool, it's just some people forget how awesome traditional art really can be.

indeed it is, i do feel incredible after finishing an image this large, so whenever i want to feel all superspecialawesome i just go on mspaint and do my thing, doing things the easy way is never satisfying.

I only have Photoshop, I want SAI or GIMP, but there's no use in that if my tablet doesn't work.

i tried sai, it was good, although it didn't work on my computer when it had windows 7 for some reason but, i think its just like photoshop, only more user friendly, gimp is unprofessional its missing lots of things and is not user friendly, i say if you have photoshop its good to concentrate on one program at a time and photoshop is a great choice its great for colouring, if you like to draw on paper i suggest you do that >scan >illustrate> photoshop Β i still have no idea how illustrator works but i hear its user friendly personally i prefer to use mspaint for linework because i'm used then cook it with semi realistic shading and lighting on photoshopΒ

well, I need something better than Photoshop if I want to do fully-digital art. I'm used to it for editing pictures, but not for sketching. so SAI would be the best choice?

sai is the better choice than photoshop if you plan to use it for art alone, since unlike photoshop, it doesnt have multi usage options so yes, sai is your best choice for art purposes only. like i said user friendly but it wont be that much user friendly if you dont have something to run it on
