There is a sacredness in tears. They are not the mark of weakness, but of power. They speak more eloquently than ten thousand tongues. They are messengers of overwhelming grief, and, Unspeakable love. So before we can pray, "Lord, Thy Kingdom come," we must be willing to pray, "My Kingdom go."

I see pain, sadness and isolation underneath the force and anger of those eyes.
I have a character in my story with eyes that colour, and he does the icy thing really well too.

Your right eye, highlighted by the sun's light, looks so intense and engaging that I can almost not look away. Your left eye, shadowed by your profile, by comparison looks empty, sad, and almost menacing. The look on your face also suggests anger at something or someone. Were it not for the beauty of your features I should be forced to look away for fear that that anger is directed at me. However, I know you don't mean for the observer to feel that way. Still, this piece is unsettling in a very good way. That I should feel that way at all tells me that, on some level, you achieved what you wanted to achieve with this piece. Well-done.
