Description Self Portrait
I modeled for as well as took this photo

It is not what we read, but what we remember that makes us learned. It is not what we intend but what we do that makes us useful. And, it is not a few faint wishes but a lifelong struggle that makes us valiant.

Вся кровь красная

This is just amazingly stunning. Every bit of this is art. I can't imagine the time that went into the costuming and gathering the props, let alone the hard work of staging the shot, and then the actual skill in the photography. The setting is perfect, the loss of focus on the barrel really works to help convey the threat, and those eyes tell so many stories all on their own.
Beautifully crafted shot of an impressively equipped model that is highly appealing. Great storytelling.
I am blown away by this.

Beautifully captured. On a separate note, you must have the most interesting closets - full of impeccable suits; combat fatigues; leather and armor. Based off the wonderful selection of work you display in your gallery, that is.

Thanks! And yes. I've set up my home to look more like a museum. With firearms, swords, axes, polearms on display stands and in cases. Suits of armor on stands. I don't really have a closet. All the clothing and corresponding equipment are on mannequins and on display. Lots and lots of historical antiques, and general items I like to use as props and to fill up display cases and shelves with. Right now I'm about to pay off the final sum of a $4600.00 suit of western brigandine armor being forged by ArmorySmith in Ukraine. So that'll be ready around February.

That's incredible. I would wager you have a beautiful home, then!

It's an understatement to say I'm jealous, but I'll just have to start my own collection someday.
