Why do you find it odd? I wear this stuff casually on a daily basis, That and medieval clothing. When I want to look fancy I chose Victorian silk suits and waistcoats. It's all just a personal preference I suppose.
Why do I find this era alluring? It holds a true meaning to what we - as Americans really fought for. 3 times in our history have we actually fought for the survival of our people. And our freedom. Not this stupid occupational war on terror. It was romantic also.

Not just sometimes. But all the time. At the local coffee shop in a WWII GermanΒ M36 uniform (Not photographed yet)
Even rode the motorcycle with it haha. Just because it seemed cool. And it's a nice day.Β
