Description 2,5 M.Y.A (early Pleistocene) Italy

In a meadow of grass, grazes a lone buck. He is a bush-antlered deer and it's peak rutting season. His 1,7 meter wide antlers are not often used for combat due to their size, they are more for display. Males with the biggest set of antlers are most likely to scare away rival males with appearance alone. Bush-antlered deer roam much of southern Europe but became extinct at the end of the pleistocene epoch.
