Jasprea's largest land mammal, the Firefields Behemoth is found exclusively in the western Firefields of Camara and feeds on the spicy Phoenix grass that is characteristic of Camara as a region. Their titanic size and heavy armour makes them practically impervious to predation as adults, and as such they live long lives, often in excess of 200 years. The death of a Behemoth is a rare occasion, and a goldmine of materials that would be almost impossible to attain from a live specimen. Firefields Behemoth meat has a unique flavour due to the Phoenix grass that forms the bulk of it's diet and is the ultimate Jasprean delicacy. Bones and organs are used in potions, and the horn and osteoderms are rock-hard and able to be carved into weapons that accept charms and curses extremely well.
