The view looking southeast from the River Douro toward Cais Capelo Ivens with Nova de Gaia in the background. Seen from the river cruise on its return upriver, after departing from Cais da Ribeira and initially heading up the River Douro and then downriver to Ponte da Arrábida bridge.

A mild cloudy day, clearing to sunshine now, but with a rainy evening ahead of us. A change in the weather from hot late summer sunshine that we had enjoyed since my first day in Porto on the 10th of October. Autumn has arrived in Porto.
